I have this system

CPU: Core 2 Duo 8400 s775/3,00 Box
Motherboard: Asus P5Q (P45,DDR2)
Ram: Ram 2GB Kit DDR2 1066MHz Dark
H/D: Western Digital S-ata 250Gb
VGA: GeForce XFX 7600 GT 256Mb
PSU:THERMALTAKE W0089 TR2 POWER 470W

I want to ask: is my psu enough for a 4850?

:welcome: You should be fine with the Thermaltake, In reality your system is probably going to draw somewhere around 300 watts so you should have plenty of headroom.

Well the 4870 is the superior card, However making an accurate assessement would require more information, Type of games you play, Monitor size and your preferred resolution. For more info and opinions I would suggest checking out the video card forums.

Well your best bet for Crysis is going to be the 4850. While I don't know that you will be able to play the game maxed out, It should do well with your setup.
