what's up with this?? no oem 1600 xp at newegg?!

da**, when i'm finally ready to order my stuff they don't have what i need. how 'bout that? only retail 1600 xp at $139 which is the same price as the 1700 oem.. i'm thinking to just go with the 1700 xp cuz if i wait for the 1600 oem to come in i might not be able to spend the cash....... (not that i can really spend it now but i'm gonna:D )

Yep, same happened to me.

I got mine at Z-Buy (www.z-buy.com) for $124 each shipped (got two) which is about the same as Newegg. Saved me on paying tax too, so I came out ahead.

They have good RR rating and I'd recommend. Mine shipped today.

Thompson's Computer Warehouse (www.tcwo.com) has a good phone order special on them too. They also have good ratings. Must mention Pricewatch for $115 each.

I got my 1600+ OEM from newegg for $126 about a month ago. The price has gone up now...
The same thing happened to my friend, they ran out of the 1600+'s so they sent him a 1700+ for no extra $, talk about luck!
