ASUS P5Q Deluxe LGA 775 Intel P45 no sound

My friend build a pc for me and I have this as a mother board and using intergrated sound with the mother board but I dont hear any sound coming from my speakers and I also plug in USB headset and still no sound... What could I do to fix this problem.

I use blackhawk driver for onboard sound.

I guess drivers are installed, yes?

1. Check the 'device manager' if the driver is installed properly.
2. Make sure the sound isn't muted.
