Hello I wanted to know if a hard drive with a broken power pin can be fixed? Its a IDE based hard drive, does Best Buy repair them or not. Or maybe any where else they can back up my data. If they can't back it up can it be fixed? Thanks

Can you also take a picture of the PCB card that pin was soldered on to?

You might need a soldering iron and some TORX screwdrivers to remove the card from the hard drive.

To be honest, Id probably be too lazy to do it properly and just fold a paperclip in half and put it in there.
However, to do it properly, you'd need one of these, http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=60_174&products_id=1468 and possibly a soldering iron.
