I've been out of the loop for a while and want to downgrade to a MATX rig. I need a board that will allow a modest overclock (E4400 from 2Ghz to 3Ghz+) and will accept 4 sticks of D9GMH without much hassle.

My budget is tight, but I've found this Gigabyte GA-G31MF-S2 (http://www.ebuyer.com/product/142458) it appears to be a 4 DIMM socket version of another GB G31 board that got good reviews.

I'm buying tonight, just want any feedback, impressions, should I get this board?

edit: to save you Googling, here's GigaByte's page on the board (http://tw.giga-byte.com/Support/Motherboard/BIOS_Model.aspx?ProductID=2756)

well here in the USA, G43/G45 gigabyte boards are out... i would skip getting G31 unless its just that good of a deal over G43/G45.

Link for reference so you can see the boards im talking about. i would get either of them but G45 does Hardware Decoding of HD-DVD/BLueray if you want to use it for that.

Cant find the G45 boards in the usual UK online shops, but will consider waiting for it.

That board I wanted is now discontinued by eBuyer... I should of bought it when I had the chance :(
