I have OCZ2P800R21G memory, 2 sticks of 1GB to be exact. I also have an E7200 CPU overclocked to 3GHz (333 bus speed x 9 multiplier). I want to optimize my memory now that my CPU is overclocked...no idea what to do though. Help, please?
*EDIT: here's some screens from CPU-Z, hopefully it helps. It also seems my multiplier drops to 6 when the CPU is idling...

You have PC2-6400 rated at 4-4-4-15, so in order to run it at it's rated speed while at an FSB of 333 MHz, you would need to change the DRAM Speed to 5:6 (333/800 strap)... this in turn would set your Target DRAM Speed (DRAM Frequency) to 799.2 MHz. Take the four primary RAM timings (CAS-TRCD-TRP-TRAS) off AUTO, and set them manually to 4-4-4-15 at 1.9-2.1 vDIMM.
You're seeing the lower multiplier in CPU-Z because C1E (Enhanced Halt State) is enabled in the BIOS. You can read up on on the power saving options C1E and EIST (Enhanced Intel SpeedStep Technology) here...

Would i be able to overclock my memory at all? Or am i stuck with 799.2 MHz?

No you're not stuck at 800 MHz. Progressively raise the FSB w/ a lower multiplier, and try different strap settings like 380x8 and 333/800 (5:6) strap = RAM @ 912 MHz, or 266/667 (4:5) @ 950 MHz 5-5-5-15 (or tighter like 5-5-4-15 / 5-4-4-15 for example, w/ a possibly higher vDIMM like 2.0 or 2.1v).

how do u work out the ratio's like that.. liek says if i had 400mhz ram and itt was 3:2 and my fsb was 333 how would i work it out?

A DRAM ratio of 3:2 means that the RAM will run at FSB*(2/3) or FSB*(0.667) = 222 MHz (333*2/3 or 333*0.667), which equates to 444 MHz DDR.

You multiply by 2 for the RAM (222 to 444) because each quad pumped fsb by the CPU is divided into 2 rams (dual channel). That means the effective CPU bus is 4x that of the FSB and the RAM in dual channel is 2x to make it in sync with the CPU. IT may not be in sync for your case since you changed the ram:cpu ratio.

Anyway someone already knows the timings i need to set my memory to? I ask because i've never overclocked memory before.

It's best to start out with 5-5-5-15 and leave everything else to auto. You can then eliminate RAM bottleneck. IMO, use 2.2volts (safe for most and not too hot) then get the max CPU clock and start optimizing the RAM (speed and voltage).
