I have a Radeon 8500 and want to overclock it with a fairly large generic cpu cooler i have.Since the Radeon 8500 does not have any holes in the pcb to attach the cooler with screws, does anyone know if the artic silver adhesive will be strong enough to hold the heatsink and fan to the gpu and is it safe to put a large cooler on a gpu. Thanks :)

I've used Arctic Silver epoxy several times. If applied correctly, it will work perfectly and permanently for you.

Arctic Silver Adhesive if used properly is extremely strong.

Make sure you prep both surfaces properly and avoid getting arctic Silver adhesive on the Memory pins.
