yo all! does anyone know how to get my own ftp server?

i want to be able to host large files over the internet for free or cheap.

is that really the best one? i had trouble setting it up. what kind of server address is it? IP?

If you are running XP you have an FTP server built in. IIS is installed on XP (or can be installed as an option) and is pretty easy to use.

If it is installed, and you want to use Serv-U or another 3rd party company, then make sure you uninstall IIS from XP or it will not play well with the other FTP program.
