i read here= http://www.overclockers.com/tips645/ to search these boards for a prog called burn6 to check my stability. I searched and checked every message in the results but still could not find it. can somebody hook me up w/ a link to download this or a attachment? thanks a ton

the program that you are looking for can be found as cpuburn ....i woul recommend toast however (www.aoafiles.com) as it has a gui and a timer.....also its just as rigorous....

SiSoft SANDRA2001te also has a nifty burn-in wizard. It is available at most download sites. For stability checking, I would recommend getting Prime95 and letting it do the torture test. Any computational errors will show up there (instability) even though your computer may appear to be acting fine.

Try a combo for each night or so or each day.
Through:
Prime95
CPUBurn
Toast - High Priority
Those are the most intensive benchmarks I see.
Set some programs out and if next morning you see the desktop blank probably means your system auto reboot or crashed..
