just been offered a 1ghz P3 tually ES guaranteed to do 1.33


my board wont take it tho (sa6-r) and i cant really afford it


oh how i wish it was next week (payday)


my other wondering with it, is "will it go any further"

Ummm.... I don't think Intel ever made a 1gig Tualatin. And don't mean to sound lame, but what's "ES".

You said it is offered to you, but for how much?

they didnt *sell* a 1ghz ES

that would be sweet to play with. i thought they released something called a 1.0A or something. probably the .13 micron p3 1ghz processor.

Hmmmm P3 Tualatin started at 1.13 unless the enginnering sample was that chip and stuff..

Well I'd say go for it but maybe pricey :D

Ahhh....Right. Well, would be a fun toy but the bottom line is the price. That chip is an older production, and most likely won't clock as high as some of the newer Intel chips. Considering the price on the Tualerons, I wouldn't pay more then about $70 for it.
