so ive been planning to get a gigabyte ep35-ds2l to go along with an E8400. its been 85 bucks at newegg for a while now. but just today, the BIOSTAR TForce TP43D2A7 is just $70 after the rebate!! ive heard a lot of good things about both boards, and im using a gigabyte board now (first build) so im kinda used to it.. but that biostar is a steal, yikes!

I dunno, but if you're already used to Biostar, and it's a better deal than the Gigabyte, then I would go with the Biostar.

On the other hand Gigabyte has been a great board, which alot of members here will agree upon.

i would actually take the Asus P5Q for the small price difference, get better chipset and 8phase pwm. there is a asus P43 with 8 phase but is close to the same price at the P5Q.

with the cpu you have i wouldnt upgrade the board till you get a better cpu.
