Well, I suppose it's more of a "Is my whole system a bit outdated" post.

My rad and pump have been with me since I started watercooling and worked very well cooling an Athlon XP 2500, and they worked well for the Athlon 64 X2 3800@2.8Ghz

I recently upgraded to an Intel Q9450 based system and bought a Fuzion V2 to cool it.

The Rad is an old HE120.2 (From 2003 I think)
The Pump is an Ehiem 1250 (Again from 2003)
The Rad has two quiet 120mm fans (I'm not sure of the make ATM) pulling air in from outside.

My idle temp is about 42C
My load temp is about 52C
External air temp is about 22C
And I'm not yet overclocking.

I'd like to get these lower before I start overclocking.

I haven't yet got the Quad core insert for the Fuzion, so that's the first thing. But should I update the Rad/Fans/Pump too?

yea bro i would get a 120.3 rad and if you have the money get the pa series and atleast some medium speed fans like some yates but if you dont mind the noise there are some cheap kaze fans out there that put out a decent amount of air for the price

check this out for 9 bucks you get 133cfm thats a good amount of air...im getting 6 of these ****ers ;)

p.s. if anyone knows of better fans for a decent price let me know iv been searching everywhere and those were the cheapest i could find

The case unfortunatly isn't big enough for a 120.3 rad, so I'm stuck with the 120.2...

A 120.2 or a dual fan sized heatercore (with shroud) should do just fine for cpu cooling, IMO. Before I added my 8800GTS and a PA120.3 to my loop, I had a dual fan heatercore only in my loop and my QX9650 was staying under 50 C loaded running Seti at 3800. That's with using medium speed Yates on the rad. On the pump, I think you should try the Eheim out forst before buying a new pump with your Fuzion. The Fuzion doesn't have real high resistance to flow like a Storm for example, and the Eheim might be able to do a decent job with it.
