This is going to be going into a qpack 1 small form factor case. My current PSU the http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817153035

Is too big and doesn’t have modular plugs.

Im looking for a unit that has modular plugs and is a little small physically then my ol’ TT unit. It needs 1 x 6 pin PCIe and 1 x 6+2 ( or 8 ) PCIe power plugs.

I’m looking for *at least* 550 watts. The smaller physically, the better.

System specs.
1 cd/dvd combo drive
1 harddrive
P5E-vm-hdmi
2x1G ram
E8400 @ stock, or small overclock too 3.6GHz (400 fsb)
Zalman cnps 7700cu
9800gx2 @ 700core/1100mem
1 x 80mm fan
1 x 120mm fan.

Should be between 350~375w loaded. These are the units im looking at – any input is nice :)

1st choice http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151030
2nd choice http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817194035
3rd choice http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371016

I have a Blue Storm in my XQpack2 right now.

Have you considered the HX620?

Chin, The seasonic you linked looks good to me. You know it will be quiet, Efficient and have an excellent warranty.

i did, but if at all poss i wanna keep it to a 12cm fan. iirc the 620 has a 14cm fan.

my TT unit now has a 14cm fan and it's a VERY tight fit for the qpack1.

i think im gonna end up getting the seasonic unit. always heard good things about them. :)

Seasonic is the OEM of the corsair which afterall they may be the same units internally?

Anywho, you can almost never go wrong with a Seasonic unit
