Well I guess you can't never have enough.. Well as you know on Winamp they have Visualizations... I use the Advanced Visualization Studio v2.5 that comes with the newest winamp....the thing is that when i run it full screen I can only run it at 800x600 any higher then that it will bring it to a crawl.. So is this a limit from my Ati Radeon 32mb Sdr video card? because just at 320x280 I think.. I only get around 30 fps... 800x600 I guess around 10 maybe 5 fps... It's ran in Direct3D I would think...So getting a Geforce3 or Ati Radeon 8500 would I be able to run it at 1024x768 with at least frame rates over 30 Fps?

Actually it doesnt run in Direct3d (it aint 3d either) - its not 3d hardware accellerated at all - even with my duron 900 @ 1004
with me Geforce 2 titanium i get a crap framerate also... so if you really want to go buy a GF3 just to have 2 more fps in winamp visualisation studio - go ahead - on the other hand you can get your ass over to www.winamp.com and goto the plugins section - and find yourself a nice direct3d or opengl plugin - yes nice silky framerate and pretty graphics - and you dont need a hardware upgrade.....
