problem getting modem to use com5

I hope that this is the proper forum .. if not please move to proper forum?

I am having a problem getting my modem to change com from 2 to 5??? when on com 2 I am told that it is sharring interupt but won't let me choose com ...error say's that cant open port?

ISA Modem? An ISA modem won't use IRQ 5. Post a little more info in here and maybe then I can help you.
