Is this a good Motherboard?

I have a Core 2 duo E4600 2.4ghz, Nothings overclocked, is this a pretty good motherboard for gaming? ( i play counter strike, counter strike source, dod:s)

Corsair memory
400gb 7200rpm western digital hard drive Sata
680 watt power supply 12v
I currently have a Gigabyte motherboard for $55.

Is that motherboard im getting right now good?

thats a nvidea chipset only way is if you plan on doing sli other wise get a intel chipset board

You probably won't get much or any improvement from switching if you running single graphic card.

Why do you want a new motherboard? Do you plan on overclocking? Or do you want to improve your graphics by using two graphics cards (SLI using a Nvidia chipset motherboard or Crossfire using and Intel chipset board)?

It'll help everyone be more helpful if you describe what you're trying to achieve with a new motherboard.
