Asus p5q pro: How do i Know if i hve the latest bios version?

I just bought this 3 weeks ago but how do i know if i have the latest bios?

cpu-z download check bios version.
Go asus website, check your motherboards website for latest revisions.
(compare versions)

Other way is to use asus update program to check and update bios versions in windows.
Best is to flash using usb key though.

yeah, there's been 3 updates since my version. How do i use a usb key to update? My bios doesn't have an option to boot from a USB, only sata, ide, floppy and cd-rom. Can i make a bootable cd-rom?

if you have ezflash in bios just enable it or you can use cdrom just hit alt+f2 on boot it will flash from cdrom dosent have to be bootable
