View Full Version : Vista help: Formating raid 10 drive. Which options to choose?

When formating this drive Vista gives me the following options for the file system: UDF 1.50, UDF 2.00, UDF 2.01 UDF 2.50. It also gives me 2 options for allocation size: default or 2048.
Can anyone reccomend what i should pick. Which would be best for speed?

Arrgh, when i try to format it says i can't because the media is write protected. How do i fix this?

HOW are you formating them?
in vista?
on your mobo?
you cant raid in vista a drive that is in use.... like your OS drive..

Tryig to format in Vista. Vista is on Raid 0 partition and i'm trying to format the raid 10 partition. any ideas?
