I was wondering if I close all my L11 bridges my default voltage will be 1.850. Does this mean that in the bios I would be able to select 1.850 and actually have the chip at 1.950? Does it give me an extra .10 volts without doing the motherboard volt mod?

yes..i did it to my MP's.

SO like now in the bios if I select 1.850v, my chip will acutally be running at 1.95 volts?

I have a KR7A-RAID, and I believe you are correct. But I am not sure. Have you tried to use an analysis program? Like WCPUID or one of the many out there? It may not show the correct value anyway, but its worth a try.
Regardless of what your default voltage is on your chip your motherboard has a max voltage that can be put out without modifacation done to it. I have tried what your thinking which is setting the defualt on your chip to 1.85v and then putting your voltage to plus 1. It was still at 1.85v. Just do a voltage mod to your board and save yourself the time.

Right, some mobo's have an over volt protection set-up. Some boards this will be 1.85v and others 1.90v. Your best bet is try. If ya get what ya need....cool. If not...it's mod time :D
