Well that sucks, I have that same case.

What is covered under warranty?

Maybe if you tell them that the plastic piece on the bottom that clips the front panel closed broke off they would send you a whole new front panel!

A good company would do that, if that covered under the warranty of course;)

the actual button on the front of the case isnt broken, the mechanism inside the case is broken...and that isnt covered by the warranty

Does Enlight have a special switch or can you just get a generic one from a local compute store

there are not really any local places that carry anything like that i believe, its not special or anything, its a small box with a button sticking out, with a two pin connector on the end...not sure if this is special, i guess ill call around though

If you are into a little modding you could put a security key switch in. Its not hard at all i got the switch from a locksmith for 13.00 and had it in in 30 min it looks cool and you need a key to start the comp.

but what if i lose the key, that means i cant use my computer, id much rather have a regular switch, im not really scared of someone turning on my computer when im not around, because the only person that knows anything about computers is my brother, and he wont mess anything up on it....so im not gonna go to the risk of having a lock, and not being able to turn on the stupid thing

Had a similar problem on an enlight a few weeks ago...the switch didn't break, just kept sliding out of that little plastic housing and then shorting out and making the system shut off...I didn't have any glue, so I decided to use my soldering iron to "weld" the plasic peices together :)

The switch is just a basic contact switch, it shouldn't be hard to find one at radio shack that will fit, or at worst, a swtich you can rig to sit behind the button and act just as the old one did...

Go to radio shack and get a momentary switch
