Ok gang I'm planning on a new build and I've got everything figured out except when it comes to an optical drive. Which way should I go....1 blu-ray drive and just a plain old DVD drive (for installing software mostly) or just get a DVD Burner and DVD drive? I'm leaning towards a DVD Burner and a simple DVD drive. I'm intrigued by the amount of storage capacity a Blu-ray drive can give but is the cost worth it right now. I'm working with a budget of $3,800 or so.
This new system will replace an old AMD Athlon 5000 black edition that's on a Crosshair board. Going to give it to my parents to replace their old AMD Athlon 64 2800.
