problem removing onboard video driver

board is Pc Chips (m748-11)
xcel 2000
66/100mhz fsb
slot 1 pII 350mhz

I do not have the original video card...there is no AGP slot!

onboard 64 bit 3D AGP graphics accelerator......

new card is S3 Virge-VX PCI (988)

cannot get rid of the other video driver...
standard PCI VGA...

did you disable it in the bios! I bet you can do it there adn select pci as your first video option. that should work.
