TV-out up to 800x600 resolution doesnt this mean that i cant play games at any resolutions higher then that??

That it does... unless you have an hdtv and a vid card capable of hd output... then you can do 1024x768:D

HDTV can have very high resolutions im sure - i saw a tv in an airport shop outputted at a resolution of something silly like 1800x 1024 - maybe it wasnt HDTV

The xbox goes to 1920x1080... My GF3 could only dream of that resolution:D

actually your Geforce3 has a fairly better chance of achieving that resolution most video cards can....actually the G3 is better because there are actually computer monitors that run at that res.....

But the conexant (makes my tv out module) website says it supports upto 1024x768... That would be hdtv would it not? Or is that just the plain old tv out ability and hdtv is different?
