I'm going to be building a water-cooled S478 system and was wondering what recommendations everyone has for a case. I'd like to have enough room inside the case for all my water cooling equipment, so I'm seriously considering full towers. Please let me know what you think!

Look under the cube case section. I myself got the econ server case 1020. If you want someting smaller, get the YY 201. They got lots of room, I am using two 12x5 heater core for my rig.

did you ever hear of a VAPOCHILL? with a pentium 4 2.0 gig chip, you can overclock the chip to 2667, with the chip running a -12 degrees. its a bad unit.

Thanks for the feedback, I'm looking into Vapochill as I haven't heard of them before. I decided not to go with Koolance because 1) I'm buying my own water-cooling system and 2) I've heard the system they provide won't handle a CPU, GF3, and Northbridge.

not only can Koolance cool the CPU but also the Northbridge, and GF3 and your hardrives too

Ya Gimps, where did you hear it could not handle that stuff?
I hope your setup goes well, please keep up posted!

Vapochills are incredible units but then again thier price
kills em. You can carefully build your ouwn much, much
cheaper.

Well I know the Koolance has the hardware to cool that stuff, but I heard the pump and other equipment that came with the cases was really only suited to cool a CPU and maybe a GPU. I still want to go with dangerden for my water system, and then buy a case that will accomodate it well. I was looking into the Chenming case, and I'm going research that case a little more.

Cases with 120mm fan mounts like Lite-On, Chenbro, Addtronics, and others are good for mounting a 5x5 or 12x5 radiator. It's convenient to have those mounts for rad like the Blackice models that already have 120mm holes drilled.

I love my case.

Pretty nice. I'd drill out the top or bottom and mount a 120mm rad. I've been looking at those. Lots of room.

Koolance is pretty much an easy setup for evreything in the CPU mainly, CPU, GPU, Chipset, HDD.

It includes a case and like a very secure mounting system where when you install the water block it 'll click when it gets enough press/contact.

If you want to go further buy a full tower and you can probably put the reservoir under the bays the radiator in one of the CD ROm bays...
