can someone tell me if this is good or bad as i was reading something about signal to noise ratio so i been and tested the modem and heres the results..........

Looks like a Motorola Surfboard 4100 to me....

Your Signal to Noise is fine. It's better than mine and I'm pulling 2.3 Meg off a 1.5 Meg line.

The other important is the power level reading. It should be as close to 0 as possible and should never break 8. You have a 3 which is more than acceptable.

Looks good to me.

Are you having connection or speed problems or are you just curious about the readings?

yip got it nailed bro sb4100 i was having connection probs as the line back was apparantly iffy (not my side) so i been rockin for over a week now.......what a difference eh from diallup there is no justice!!!!!!!!!:burn:
