For some weird reason, my Voodoo 4 is giving me artifacts and crashing out of Starsiege Tribes and I don't know why. I am running at 6.5 x 133... my Voodoo 4 PCI is running at default speed. (166 Mhz) For some reason it is giving me artifacts like this. I know, I know, still need to try it at default speed... but the thing is, at 133 FSB my PCI bus is running at its normal speed so I can't see how in the heck this could be affecting it at all. I mean yeah my CPU is overclocked, but it is totally stable in Prime95, no errors at all. CPU temp idle is 38 C. Full load is around 40-42. Anyone have any ideas as to why I am crashing and getting artifacts on the V4? Thx.

try changing some bios pci settings. you can try out byte merge, the delayed transaction and pci to dram prefetch. its difficult to analyse a problem without knowing the settings you have but you can safely play with the pci ones you have in the bios.
if you do it post here a reply with the settings you tried out if you still get the artifacts.

Get a better cooler if nons of the above posts work. My voodoo overclocks really well, I got it to run at 198 stable!

That too. Ryz, what drivers are you currently running?
