comcast cable

I'm in NJ and since the switch to comcast things have gotten much slower. Im testing at peak times only around 1000/120 kbps. Anybody in the area experiencing major slow downs also?
I am really desperate i need more speed if you have good tweaks or anything else that could speed up the connection that would be great.

Comcast is currently having alot of problems in the NJ/PA area and are throttling back the speed. Once things are done changing over, IE, you recieve your @comcast.net email address things should pick up. If they dont, tweak away.
