Onboard Sound Problem

For the last week or so my onboard Realtek sound has not been loading.
Now its completely off.

I tried unins./ reinst. drivers but to no avail.
No sound. Period:bang head

Have you checked the CMOS parameters regarding it? Maybe you could use a driver cleaner (http://www.guru3d.com/index.php?page=driversweeper)to make sure nothing is left behind and then reinstall. It's unlikely to work but may be worth a shot.

Bios settings are correct/ used driver sweeper to fully clean.
