I've been searching the net all evening and could not find any decent info about waterblocks made of aluminium. I know there are some GPU blocks made of aluminium but seems like all the CPU blocks have at least the base made of copper. The nickel plated ones seem to be plated on the outside only...

Please tell me some brands that would fit my loop. I have aluminium radiator and that water tank so copper is a no-no.

10-20% antifreeze should pretty much sort out any issue you have with alu and cu in the same loop.

ya i have the same problem, well sort of. i took the heater cores from 2 sunfires (about a 2 x120mm rad size) and i want to use them for my gpu but have never seen an aluminum block. what blocks did you find btw??

also second sam, but i thought it was more like 40-50% mix ratio for mixed metal.

I think zalman has a al gpu block

Aluminum is too soft and prone to corrosion probably.

yes, zalman has a few and then innovatek and maybe koolance. also aquacomputer has at least GPU coolers in alu.

i just feel too stupid because while searching, i've seen countless articles about not putting anything out of aluminium into the loop. i should've done that searching before i made that watertank.....

i have inovatech nickel plated alloy blocks and a DD copper RBX cpu block in the same loop.

i run 10-15% VW coolant because it is special for its mixed metal anti corrosion properties over typical anti freeze.
