ok I just ran memtest and I cant remember all the errors I got from it but I kno it was ALOT. So instead of useing the gskill ddr2 800 I was thinking of going to this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227230 That way I wouldnt burn out my memory so fast only had it for 4 months. Any thoughts?

Just a quick question, what settings and voltage were you running the gskill ddr2 800? If you ask me, I won't recommend buying another RAM. This is because you probably won't see much difference in terms of RAM performance. I'm quite sure your gskill can get to ~ 1000mhz 5-4-4-15 or something @ 2.2volts.
Also, how hot is it when you touch it? Not very scientific but a rough gauge.

I have settings @ 4-4-4-12 @ 2.2v I havent touched it due to the memory cooler I have installed.

Could you elaborate more? Why won't you touch it if you have additional cooling? There must be something I don't understand.

As for the WC RAM, I haven't heard much about it. However, I recommend 2X2GB OCZ gold (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227199). Or Corsair 2X2 XMS2 silver. (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145194)

Btw, since it won't run stock settings, try RMAing it. You may have a bad stick!

Well I havent touched my ram for the simple fact if its bad its bad. With the extra cooling I have on the memory ther isnt any need. If it burns up I would have to replace it anyway. I was asking for input on the new memory. Im running a QDR of 1750 linked and sync. I was wanting some memory I wouldnt have to due much ocing with. Or am I wrong that my ddr2 800 hits that fsb with no overclocking? And I havent made the switch to 64bit so 2 gig is all I need atm.

I see.

Hence Btw, since it won't run stock settings, try RMAing it. You may have a bad stick!

32bit can address up to 3.5gb. The extra 1.5gb makes quite some impact, at least when I was playing cod4, tf2 etc.

Don't know about the ram you've linked.
