Well as of right now I have 2 new MSI K9A2 Platinum boards that came DOA from Tiger. I usually stay away from AMD when I build pc's but for Folding it is a cheaper alternative right now for the GPU folders.

Thanks for the list Torin.

Can anyone give personal recommendations for any boards on this list? Or that are not included on this list with 4 gpu slots?? thinking its time to get an AMD system in the mix....

thanks! I was thinking about that board but after hearing your experience....

off topic: I was reading your profile/interview thing on the T32 page and saw you live in Lisle, ya? I'm not too far away, we are up in Palatine, make our way down to your hood at least once a month for the All Animal Expo at the fair grounds, good times....

I have some friends that live up that way. Nice to see someone else from my neck of the woods.

No more 780i LS? I thought you had it runnin'. :)

btw- I'm not sure about the 750i or the 790i from eVGA, but the 780i definitely has 3 PCI-E dual slots... and it's not on the list. ;)

oh no, the 780i Tri GPU folder is done and running fine now. the P6N is for a Quad GPU folder. ;)
