what ports does CS use

I just installed CS and want to play but don't know what port to open on my router, anybody know?

well you shouldn't have any problems connecting to any online servers unless its a firewall issue? Since your not hosting a server, you would be accessing a server just like opening up a browser and serving the web. :D

By default the client is also 27015.

I believe you can also set the port CS uses. Simply add "-port xxxxxx" to your CS shortcut after the -game cstrike. xxxx being the port you want CS to use.

Port 21 is an FTP Port, 80 is web services most games are in the thousands for port numbers. For future reference.
