I am new to OC with AMD and using Multiplier. Why do you want to lower you Multiplier and raise your FSB? I know it will allow for a greater overall OC but you lose the performance in your CPU.
Wouldn't you want to test your system with the highest possible Multiplier, then test out the sytem with the normal Multiplier, but with the highest FSB.
Then take the max of both and see where the medium is?
This seems to me, if you lower your multiplier and raise your FSB, you are raising your system but your CPU will be around the same MHZ it already is.
Sorry for the stupidity on the subject, but I am use to Intel and just raising the FSB.
Please all input will be appreciated. I have a 1900XP on its way and I want to get the best out of my system.

The speed of your cpu is multiplier times the FSB. So if you lower your multiplier and raise your FSB you can still end up with higher cpu clock speed. Except now everything else is working faster due to the higher fsb also.
