i'm looking for a good mobo under/around $100 for stable overclocking e5200 and possibly e7200. would be using inexpensive DDR 800 and a good air cooler that is yet to be decided.

i've looked at a few, leaning towards the P35 Gigabyte board but the Biostar P45 one seems to have more features for a tad more. anyways any suggestions and recommendations are welcome, thanks.

The Asus P5Q SE is currently $105 with free shipping:

I will never again purchase a Biostar mobo as the one I put in my brother-in-law's computer (TForce 965PT) suddenly died after less than 2 years of use. Maybe it was just bad luck, but of the dozens of motherboard's I've owned, that was the only Biostar I used and it happened to be the only one that crapped out.

i have had great luck with biostar. but if you go anywhere someone will always have one brand that left a bad taste in their mouth. i vote for the p45 or for a little more the i45! good luck and let us know which way you go.

other boards to consider as well are the Gigabyte EP34-DS3L and EP45-DS3L both are under $100.

I would suggest a P35 chipset. I know that they're a little dated but they OC really well. Gigabyte makes a pretty good board, Biostar and MSI make some good boards as well. Thats just my 2 cents though... well ok more like a nickel, but whos counting?

You seem to just want a quick easy build so I'd go with the Gigabyte for they are lower$ and easier to setup. You might look at the GIGABYTE GA-EP43-DS3L as well. :argue:
