Simple statement on Hitachi RMA

In the age of herculean efforts to obtain and complete a RMA for some hardware, I'd like to simply state Hitachi performed above my expectations. My T7K400 fried after about two months, and I was forced to take advantage of my 5 year warrenty. Having never actually spoken with a Rep, I was able to obtain an RMA in as little as 10 minutes. Counting in the one week per trip by UPS (Georgia to CA) total RMA time came to 18 days. Satisfied!

never had any issues with HGST RMA. I did mine online before, and within 2 weeks of sending it out, had a brand new drive back in my possession. In the past, I've sent some to Seagate/WD, and gotten back recertified drives (clearly labelled as such).
