ah sorry for this thread i was suppose to post a reply and i hit new thread instead.
well 1600 is better than 1400, even if i could get it higher i doubt i'd be happy with that either :)
so i was wondering how my temps were? I got a reading of 44 degrees under load. and about 37~38 at idle.
This reading came from ITE SmartGuardian, How reliable is the reading i got from the smart guardian? just wonder because it seems that alot of you guys use MBM.
thanx

yea man,

1GHz is all you need and all youd need for the next two years. 1GB of ram will be next for the standard and 512-bit graphics cards.

For crunching stuff, 1.6GHz is a horrible mount of power, you could crunch like crazy. But even in Crunching, MHz isnt everything.

The Itanium 733MHz processor will crunch 3 times faster than an AthlonXP 1500. Thats amazing!

but athlon's still rule cause there $2200 less than Itanium 733

Well i got it above 1600mhz, i got it at 1668mhz 12x139, i can run it at 1680mhz 12x140 but it fails to run Toast, it restarts the computer when i run toast.
My T-Bird doesn't seem to run on a multiplier higher than 12x.
I dunno how stable it is, im going to run toast on it for a couple hours and see if it lasts.
