If I go with the Reserator XT would the system work (if not better) with a high end CPU waterblock like the new Fuzion etc.?

The reserator would be your weak link since it really doesn't work that well. Spending the extra money on a better waterblock isn't going to help the situation much without a good radiator to shed the heat.

Get an MCR320 with some yate loon d12sl-12 fans or the like with a decent CPU block and you will be much happier for it.

I'm assuming you don't want a radiator hanging off the back of your case, or secondly you don't want to cut your case for the radiator.
If that's the case know your limitations I know from previous post if you don't want to overclock but if you do it will not reach as high as system like Swiftech or DIY,
you probably will not be able to add more than 1 GPU to your loop, and even then it will probably be a strain on the system.
Adding the dtek may not show improvement but unless you know someone that has what you want to setup I would say it's a bit of guesswork to tell what the results would be.

I hope this helps.
