These boards cost $100 and $170 respectively on Newegg. The only difference as far as specifications go is that the I45 is rated to run at DDR2 1200 natively, while the TP45HP is rated at DDR2 1200 if you overclock it. When you compare the boards side by size visually, the only difference is a slightly better (maybe) heatsink for the north-bride, south-bride, and voltage regulators on the I45. They also changed from electrolytic to solid state capacitors on the I45 (which is a good thing I suppose).
Those are the only differences I spot. With all that said, how can you justify a $70 price difference? Is the I45 really worth the extra cost?
