i have a PCI TV Wonder Elite... i have never installed a driver for it because when i installed Windows Vista Ultimate 64, it automatically detected the TV Wonder Elite...

today, i shut down my computer because i wanted to clean inside it... i have 2 x 8800GTS in SLI... the ONLY component that i removed from the computer is ONE of the 8800GTS that is in the second PCI-E slot... after dusting the card, i reinstalled it promptly... i turned my computer back on and when i tried to watch TV with Media Center, it says the TV tuner can not be detected and to check that the hardware is installed...

i remember this has happened in the past when i installed the second 8800GTS... during this "no hardware detection" when i tried to install the TV Wonder Elite drivers from the AMD website, it said that it can not detect any hardware for the driver... :screwy:

the only way to fix it is to use system restore and roll back Vista to a state prior to the cleaning... what i don't understand is, how can the computer, with all it's power off, detect that i have removed and reinstalled one of the 8800GTS'... also, removing and reinstalling a component should make the TV tuner go wacky...
