After several months of problems with the new 2.0 client, and nearly a month without internet access, I'm back!! Turned in my first WU's last night.

Finally got my house's network fixed last night - what a pain. Whoever installed it did it very unprofessionally. And since I don't have a working phone jack in my room, my only option was to get that network running. But at any rate, I'm back, and I'll be bringing my Duron box to my house soon and it will be folding as well.

No, just my TBird box right now. My Duron box is sitting idle at my parents' house, and probably isn't even useable. I had been running WinXP RC1 on it since mid July and RC1 has a six month license, so its going to expire soon. I'll put either RC2 or WinXP Advanced Server on it, though.

I'm also building a new dual rig soon - with either the Asus or MSI dual socket A boards, so that should be folding soon as well.

I'll also try to talk my roommates into running Folding on their boxes. Nothing special though - an HP Celeron 333 and a K62-500. Our server will soon be folding as well - for the "Centipede" team or whatever it turns out to be. (it's a Pentium 166).

I intend on gaining back a few of the spots I lost during my absence.....

You can always try rolling back your clock 1 year if you don't feel like upgrading your duron system right now. I remember that I did that for the Win98 preview edition a few years ago with no problems. Glad to see that you are back Folding again; I just got back in from 2 weeks at work and found that my P3 machine had somehow got the phone line disconnected and hadn't sent any WU's in for several days but the T-bird machine was still Folding like crazy. I'm coming up fast and putting more boxes Folding so you need to get that duron back online or Ill pass you in less than a month.:D :D I just put an old super socket 7 board back online; bought a K6-2+ 450 proc for less than $45 shipped and that's all the money I've got tied up in it. Got it running @ 500 presently; it wasn't stable @ 600.

Fold on Brother, we need to see if we can catch back up to the [H]OCPer's.:)
