My current round of "benchtesting" has come to an end. It was a good run while it lasted though and it was fun moving up through the ranks. I also contributed as Santa32 and added a few wu to other usernames. So I'm back to turtle slo, but I've resorted to desperate measures and sold my measley stock holdings. When I get my check I'm gonna get my new system together. I was downgrading my hopes to 1g tbird but now I will have my XP!
I might also get an ECS mb and 900 tbird to upgrade my present p3 system. Hopefully by Feb things will be shaping up and I can add my new setup to the Mhz thread.

That's too bad. I was starting to enjoy the company as we shot up the charts. Unfortunately my production will also take a hit soon. The GF gets back, so her 1.0tbird goes back to evenings only, and my main rig (see sig) goes back to daytime only. A big hit for sure, but nothing that will permanantly cripple me.

I'll be doubleing my folding power here in about 3 weeks from now. Finanacial aid comes in less than two weeks!!! :D

then I'll be folding with over 2 gigs of p3 power.

I've been sick this past week, so I was going through old threads and noticed I never answered this question Ned. I wasn't trying to be rude or anything.:) Lets just say that some nice pc's donate some of there time now and then to help out our worthy cause. This has pretty much come to a halt recently though.

I am still waiting on a overdue check so I can finish purchasing pc parts. So far I have purchased the following:
Antec SX635 case
Shuttle AK31a refurbished
300w Power supply
2 glaciators
Visiontek G2 GTS
2 audigy sound cards
Some of this is for a new pc and some for an upgrade.

2 processors. 1 for the upgrade and 1 for the new pc. I was thinking of a xp1600 for new one and a 1.2 duron for the upgrade but we'll see what kinda deals I can get when I have the cash. Also need a hdd(seagate ccuda 40Gb) and still debating between DVD or just a cdrom.
