Hi guys, my duron has been offline for a while now, I can't get it to connect to the internet using ICS, it worked b4, then I installed a new drive into the duron installed winME on it as well, and now it doesn't work, I tried to reinstall the network cards on both comp, it didn't help, I don't have 2 modems so I can't connect to internet w/ both comps in any other way! Please I need help. To be honest I really dunno where's the problem, ICS always worked for only now it doesn't, need help quick!

I've had mixed results with ICS in the past myself, never could figure why it would work sometimes and would mess up at other times. I do have an old external motorola 28.8 modem that I'd give to you, just pay for the cost of shipping. PM me if you are interested; we need to have all the machines we can get Folding for Team 32!:D I don't mind helping out fellow Folders and it is just sitting in a drawer doing nothing.

Darn it, I just noticed that you are in Israel. I guess that the cost of shipping would be more than what a new modem would cost. The offer still stands if you are interested though. Well, keep Folding for the Overclockers team.:D

Make sure your main machine (with modem) has a static ip (say 192.168.0.1 and dns 255.255.255.0) then set the client comp to use an auto assigned ip... make sure they use client for microsoft networks/windows family logon etc....

then make sure the cables are ok and the drivers are installed propely!! ;)

Hope that helps ya,

Cheers Lenny
