Whats hotter?

Do video card chips (GF3 Oced) get hotter than CPU's (AMD K6-2)? The reason that I'm asking is that I want to mount my old K6 HSF onto my vid card for a while until I get a Corb.

Well, I don't know about hotter, but I wouldn't run the GF3 without a sink on it. It would end up in Athlon heaven. The old K6 cooler should work better than the stock one on the card. Use a fan too.

GF3s apparently run about as hot as GF2s, this is 10-15W. Somewhat cooler than a K6-2 which would put out about 30W.
