using powerdvd BD edition with a liteon bluray drive , hd4850, and xp64bit.
5 seconds into playback i get an error about the hdcp. saying the video driver/card need to be hdcp, and try disabling any dual monitors. the video prior to the error was at first pixelated multicolored snow, but once i downloaded the latest bluray trial it shows up just fine until the error.
installed a 8600gt and everything is cherry, playback is fine and the powerdvd bluray compatibility checker is all green. too bad it needs to be the 4850. nvidia is not currently an option.
tried 7.12,8.7,8.8 catalysts with same result. powerdvd checker says xp 64bit is no go, driver is no go, monitor is no go. only 1 display. downloaded .net 2.0 update
tried same player on a different system (an ati 2900xt) with same monitor (and a secondary). had same exact error along with the driver/monitor said it wasnt hdcp on the checker. i disabled the second monitor and it worked like a charm and had all greens like the nvidia on the orignal system.
has anyone gotten ati/xp 64bit to work with bluray?
