best way to overclock 4870x2?

I am using the built in overdrive that comes with the drivers but the clocks dont seem to actually be changing from 750/900. How exactly does this work?

You have to click on the "key" under overdrive to enable it then you can move the slider, after that click on apply, remember you have to do this for each GPU core, verify with GPUz once you're done to confirm that it has been sucessfull.

i did that and changed them both but the actual clocks are staying the same and also gpu-z is showing the clocks arent changing either.

Did you put the GPU under load with ATI tool?, the CCC OC only kicks in under load.

yep, it did change from its normal 2d clocks to 3d, but it did not use the overclocked settings that i changed them to.
