I am looking for information on learning Visual Basic (.Net and Access) and in-depth HTML with FrontPage.
I already know a bit of html and can use FP, but I start a new job on monday and will need to learn a lot in the next few months.
So what I am looking for is self-taught sites/references that people use and any ideas how to find the best formal schooling in my area (northern Mass/ southern NH if anyone has specifics.)
Thanks for any ideas!
msdn.microsoft.com? Thats usually a good reference.
Honestly though, if they hired you for a job and will be putting you in a position where you have to do stuff that you don't know how to do yet, then they probably think you'll be able to learn it adaquetely, or they are planning on teaching you. Or their hiring guy is dumb.

Or all of the above!
Nah, its my brother in law! And he knows that I am not yet a programmer, but that is what he wants me to do mainly; collateral duty of Hardware Geek is a PERFECT fit, but not the main focus!
He knows where my knowledge level is now but is also aware that I learn quickly. I have time for learning the needed skills, but I have to become profitable as quickly as I can, which is where the education stuff comes in.
Don't know why I didn't think of MS right off........brain cramp!
Thanks.
