I'm looking for a way to backup either my 360's game saves or the entire drive itself (actually, my preference is just the game saves) and I was wondering if anyone here had any recommendations for a (hopefully inexpensive) means to do so without voiding my warranty?
I've seen in a few places the product called the XSATA 360 (http://www.xbox360hdd.com/xsata.htm), does anyone have any thoughts or experience on this?
Thanks

I thought XSATA was just a Hard Drive with a lot more space than (at the time) the 20GB HDD's and I dont think there is a way to do it because the HDD uses a special connector you can't get. There's also the reason why they won't allow it because of purchased content it would be a way to copy and and upload it to sites ects.

Depending on how much room your saves take up you could just get a memory card. To tell you the truth had never really thought of backing it up.

I thought MS had some way or another of transfering content for if say you were upgrading from a 20gb to a 120gb hd

there is a transfer cable that comes with the hard drive upgrades, you can buy them separately online though.

I just linked what I found right away, I have no idea of these resellers are any good or not.
