View Full Version : Water cooling question
Whats the best way to have the water running throught the system? right now im going reservoir>radiator>cpu block>reservoir. Now that i think about that way kinda sucks because all that water is getting hot in the reservoir and making it to hard for the radiator to cool it, am i right?
I think, dont quote me on this since i'm not sure, but I think that the best way to arrange them is res.>cpu>rad.>res. Then again... i'm new to this whole thing. By the way, thats a nice ride you got there man, what's it got in it.. 5.7? :)

both of you have forgotten the pump, some produce lots of heat. the best way is
res - pump - rad - block - res

Yes you want the water direct from the rad to the cpu, the rad will deal with heated water better than the cpu. ;)
Also with respect to the water getting hot and the rad not coping, rads are better with hotter water as cooling ability is related to temp differential.
