looking for a game like 1941

Im looking for a game, that is like the air plane game 1941. Started out as a plane with a simple gun, getting Upgrades. getting better wepons. bombs. you see it alot in the arcade. what games are like this?? that have Good video, Like the arcade.

I loved the old 2d shooters,I drag out the old nintendo to play 1941 and Lifeforce occasionally.I havent seen any on the computer but im sure there are a bunch of freeware games like that.If you happen to run across a good one let me know.

try getting an NES emulator and the game since you own it it shouldnt be a problem...unless im wrong...if it is illegal please feel free to delete mods....

there's an older APOGEE game called Raptor, from 91 or so

I've seen it floating around in abandonware...and I've seen a demo...

u fly an f-16 instead.. not bad

I found one called freestrike,its pretty cool.Good graphics and you can play your own mp3's for the background music.There are also updates for the game.Heres the demo-5mb (ftp://ftp.perseity.com/FreeStrike/FREESTRIKEDEMO.EXE)
