I came home today and my water cooled rig (top one in my sig) had shut down. Troubleshooting led to a crack in the lucite manifold of the Thermatake CPU water block. A drop of water had shorted the board somewhere. Fortunately, I was able to restore both mobo and vid card to working condition, but now I need a new CPU water block.
What is the latest greatest for under $100 (3/8" tubing, Ehiem AC pump) I would be looking for something without a plastic top.

Yeah, I'll speak up for the GTZ also. I have one in a loop with an Eheim 1250 (using 1/2" barbs though) and it works great on a Q6600. The D-Tek Fuzion v2 is also a great choice. But the Swiftech comes with 2 sets of barbs, 1/2" and 3/8" so you don't have to worry about buying barbs for the new waterblock. Both use acetel tops, which are much more durable than Plexiglas and you really have to try hard to break it.
As far as buying the GTZ, both Jab-tech (http://www.jab-tech.com/Swiftech-Apogee-GTZ-Extreme-Performance-CPU-Waterblock-pr-4246.html) and Sidewinder Computers (http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/swapgtzexpew.html) are beating Petra's by $5.00 on pricing, at $64.95. All 3 of these vendors are highly recommended too, so go with the one that can get it to your door the cheapest.

Thanks for the tips. I did get the Apogee GTZ and will report back with temperature comps vis-a-vis the thermaltake block. I am expecting a 5 degree drop.

I would've recommended the EK Supreme as it seems to perform a bit better, but the Swifty GTZ performs really well too.
Ummm, well you can post the comparison if you want but... well it's a Thermaltake block... I mean, that name and watercooling shouldn't even be mentioned in the same thread. Here I'll summarize the comparison for you: Don't touch Thermaltake for watercooling. Done! :p

Part of the Armor LCS kit. I have replaced the pump, water block, tubing, cooling liquid and now only the radiator and reservoir are left of the original setup.
